Potty Joys

One of the joys I have found with having small kids is the fact that you can NEVER go to the bathroom without someone either following you in or finding you before you have a chance to sit down. Today was no exception, I thought I had a few minutes so I made a bathroom break. Of course Kami found me and knocked on the door. Here's our conversation.
"Kami I'm going potty what do you need?"
"Mommy I wanted to show you something I made"
"Ok, when I'm done I'll come see"
Then there was a few seconds of silence.
"Mommy, are you ok?"
"Yes Kami I'm fine." I thought this was funny because I always ask her the same thing
"Mommy do you need help?"
Even funnier. "No Kami I'm fine, thanks for asking."
Oh how I love my little ones.

I get this a lot too, but I always get the fingers under the door, and what are you doing? Plus, because I only have boys that pee when they stand they think I sure have to poop a lot because I am always sitting...ha ha kids and the bathroom!

hehehe...that made me laugh. I can so remember doing this to my own mother. What is it about kids having to know what their mom is doing and where she is EVERY SECOND of EVERY MINUTE of every DAY!? Can't wait to see Zeke. It's been crazy busy for me with returning to work, but I'll contact you soon about meeting up to see your little guy :)
